Madi McInnes

“My fmp surrounds the movement of the Renaissance, where i have studied various original paintings from artists such as Botticelli and Raphael, recreating certain aesthetics, concepts and themes. Through this recreation, I was able to adapt my styling techniques to suit the chosen concept whilst maintaining this idea of blending both contemporary and traditional visuals. I mainly wanted to reflect my interest in the history of art and showcase exactly how important fine art is towards conceptual styling. Being able to involve elements from these past periods such as the femininity of the Renaissance, silhouettes from the Victorian period and eccentricity of the 80s has now become a key technique within my styling because of this reflective theme.” | @maddisonmcinnesstyling |
