“I was initially inspired by the current feeling of society at the moment. We as a Western society are becoming increasingly more aware of global injustices and as such a feeling of helplessness is arising. This, coupled with a need to take action, has fashioned an increase in protests globally. Society is dividing between left and right wing, which prompts the question, what’s next? OUR HAZARDOUS FUTURE intends to be a project that represents a conceptual contemporary photographic depiction of the political tone of society today, with the purpose of acting as a documenter for future generations that look back on the year 2019. My aim is to use fashion communication to communicate political ideas.”
